1. Shopify’s Sidekick Learns to Reason - Sidekick now analyzes sales, inventory, and customer data to explain drops and offer multistep fixes. It acts like a virtual co-founder, spotting opportunities and guiding action.

2. Now With Image Generation and Smarter Segmentation - Merchants can generate product images instantly and segment audiences with more precision. Sidekick learns from interactions and updates recommendations in real time.

3. eBay Launches Conversational Shopping Agent - Shoppers can chat or upload images to find tailored product picks, even without clear intent. The AI suggests follow-ups and links directly to matching listings. It’s available to a small U.S. group, with a wider rollout coming soon.
